Flux Magazine is University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication capstone publication. Nationally known, it has won awards for its impactful stories, strong photos, and poised design.
I co-art directed this magazine to bring these incredible stories to life. Together we created a style guide, oversaw all of the designers, and worked alongside a team of editors, writers, and photographers. This year, the theme was centered around belonging. In a digital world, different activities and mediums are both bringing us together and tearing us a part. View my individual designs below and the full magazine here.
I designed the cover, table of contents, front of book opener, front of book timeline, one of the front of book quote pages, a feature article on sexual assault survivors, and an insert placed in the magazine to correspond with a feature article on anxiety.
